Good proceedings

A short update before we continue on the Making of TAGAP 2 feature.

Me and Petja have spent a couple of last days in TAGAP-land studying the state of TAGAP 2. After going through every aspect of the game as it is today, we were positively surprised how far the project has come and how short the mile-long to-do-list has been reduced to. Don't get me wrong, theres still tons of stuff to do before the game will be out, but the technology, single player campaign and the soundtrack are all shaping up really well.

Things are going so well, in fact, that we started discussing about the premiere trailer. We are starting to work on that in very near future, as soon as I've cleaned the code and layout from some of our no-longer-needed extra debug stuff.

Petja has been hard at work on the soundtrack and boy, its some awesome stuff. Like I've mentioned earlier, the music covers wide range of genres but thanks to the more unified production, it all sounds more like a whole than the original TAGAP soundtrack. I'm personally falling in love with Primo's theme and the rest of the new compositions are splendid as well. A couple of fan favorites will also return, one in particular being an absolute blast. We can't wait to premiere this stuff, hopefully sooner than later.

But now I have to go back to cut-scene scripting.

Until next time,
