This week's penguin postcard comes from, as it's very prominently shown, Victoria, Australia. Also very prominently shown is little penguin (Eudyptula minor, aka blue penguin and fairy penguin), the smallest species of penguins and resident of southern Australia and New Zealand. Little penguins are also the paragon of the Linux mascot Tux.

The card itself comes from Steve Parish Publishing and was sent to me as birthday greetings by my mother's penpal Eric Kyrklund. Big thanks for this adorable waddler!
