Obvious continuation to the previous week's penguin, here is Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa (or Madagascar 2) on DVD. Unlike the first one, the sequel is exactly that; a Hollywood sequel in it's most typical form. Every aspect audience loved in the first is back in the second, only bloated into impractical proportions, to the point the story is playing the second fiddle to all fan-service.
Only good thing that comes from all this is that there is naturally more Madagascar penguin mayhem. Even though the penguin awesomeness is still witty, it's the only witty thing to witness here. Well, that and Hans Zimmer's orchestral score-arrangement of I Like To Move It as it is used as the theme of king Julien (it surprisingly works).
