We've featured The Octonauts several times this year here on the Weekly Penguin arena, but in case you've missed them; The Octonauts is basically a mixture of Star Trek and Thunderbirds, only it's a CGI animation aimed for children, captain Kirk is a polar bear and McCoy is a penguin. In other words it's good stuff for kids and sci-fi buffs alike! The series is produced by Silvergate Media for the BBC's CBeebies channel and is based on series of children's books by Vicki Wong and Michael C. Murphy.
