Here's something you don't see every day; a pair of Rockhopper penguins from... Canary Islands? It's actually not nearly as silly as it sounds, as they come from the souvenir shop of Loro Parque, the biggest zoo of Tenerife. Loro Parque doesn't have just plush penguins, mind you, but also has a pretty impressive penguinarium, housing everything from Rockhoppers and Gentoos to Chinstraps and King Penguins.

As you might have expected, I sadly haven't been able to visit the said penguinarium myself, but instead these cute critters were another brilliant flea-market discovery by the semi-pro penguin spotter Tiina Heiskanen. Thank you again!
