More Penguins vs. Possums! The new issue arrives next week, so it's a perfect time to feature something that has been a long time coming; Handmade Penguins vs Possums figurines by Sarah Braly. These babies were a part of the Kickstarter campaign back in 2014 – and it has indeed taken us quite a while to feature them.

Main reason for this delay has been the fact that I wanted to do these figures justice. Most of our photo sessions work almost like a factory line; We set up a DIY mini-studio, shoot the photos in a rapid succession and I add most of the flourishes via Photoshop. For the PvP figures we broke this mould a bit, taking our time in setting the lighting and camera angles for dramatic effect. And even though I do say so myself, it worked wonders!

Huge thanks to Petja for the excellent photography, Sarah Braly for designing the figures, and of course Sebastian Kadlecik and the rest of the PvP team for coming up with these characters!
