It's been a bit melancholic lately in my penguin headquarters, as we're quickly approaching the anniversary of the last year's tragedy – the passing of my Mother. As a way of processing this melancholy whilst still remaining productive, I thought this would be a good time to feature the last of the three knit penguins made by my Mom in the 1990s.

This fellow I've nicknamed Brick due to its shape and colour. I have no idea why it took me so long to feature Brick the penguin – the other two were featured in 2009 and 2010. However, now the full hand-knit penguin gang from Mom is all here.
