Here's a blast from the past, more Ciraf penguin Mimo! Ciraf was a decoration brand sold by the S-Market chain of shops here in Finland about 10 years ago – and Mimo penguin design first appeared here on Weekly Penguin in 2012.

For context here, it is important to know that Mimo wasn't the only one of the characters in the brand, there was also a raccoon – and my late mother used to love raccoons almost as much I loved penguins. Naturally, this resulted in our households having several of these designs at that time.

One of them was this set of pillow cases I bought way-back-then. I was delighted to discover them, so much so that I forgot neither me or my mom had any square pillows to use them with. Sadly, this meant these pillow cases were left sitting in the closet... from which I just last week re-discovered them.
